+Skill for You?

December 7th, 2011

+ Skill is a way for your team to get four (4) practices along with your regularly schedules games. The practice schedule will be integrated with your game schedule and you will always be able to make both games and practices.

The practices will happen once every month and you and your teammates will get to work on plays that you can’t work on during the game. Our instructors will tailor each practice to your needs every month.

Power Play is not working? You can work on that! Want to make your break outs faster and more effective, work on that too. If the team wants to do more skill development like shooting, passing, skating and so on – that can be done as well.

The best part about + Skill is that it will be part of your schedule and you will know well in advance when you are going to have a practice. Your schedule will be built around practices and we will try to make it so that each practice precedes your next game.

If you have more questions about this option, please ask your account manager to give you more details.

Summer Prime Schedule

December 7th, 2011

Summer Prime option gives you the most choice and flexibility for your schedule. If you pick this option you will choose the following:

  • The day you want to play your games on
  • The time window you want to play your games at

We will guarantee at least 50% of all your games to be on the day and during the time window you choose. We will of course try to load up your schedule with as many games as we can that fit your choice. An example of a time window would be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. These windows are predetermined. Your account manager can explain to you exactly how it works.

In some cases it is likely to have 10-12 out of 16 games to be on the same day and in the time window of your choice. We will try to do that.

So what does that mean to you and your team?

If you don’t like weekends you can choose a Tuesday for your schedule and a time window of 6:00 – 8:00 PM, half your games will then for sure be on Tuesdays and you may not have any weekends scheduled at all during the summer.

Your other schedule options are Game Day, GameTime and Regular

Regular Schedule

December 7th, 2011

Regular schedule option means that your games can be played on any day, at any time. (there are no games on long weekends, except the Monday). Of course this is the most cost effective schedule for your team and gives you the least amount of choice.

  • You still get to choose the schedule out of all the Regular schedules

So what does that mean to you and your team?

If you pick the Regular schedule option it means that your games will be played on any day at any time. It will be a random schedule and you won’t have any consistency. However, it is the most economical schedule you can choose for your team. So if you don’t care about consistency or better ice times, go with the Regular schedule.

Your other schedule options are Summer Prime, Game Day or Game Time

DirectPay – Discover the Ease of Collecting Fees

May 28th, 2009

Collecting money from your players is never a fun experience, on some days it can be compared to pulling teeth. When we run teams we used to collect fees as cash or cheques, while it did the job it was far from ideal. You could not offer your teammates to pay with their credit card for their fees before and offering them to split their team fees into two equal or monthly payments was unthinkable.

If you have never experienced DirectPay, you will love what it can do for you. We have offered DirectPay during the last four seasons and this past winter one for every two players in the league used the service, it is proven to reduce your workload. The NCHL was the first league to introduce this service in Edmonton and is the only league that provides this convenience for you.

You can even use DirectPay to pay your deposit so that zero dollars leave your pocket to register your team, all you have to do is get your teammates to sign up and use the service, just ask the Regulators. Every season they manage to get all their guys to pay online and the GM never has to collect money from anyone!

This season you can offer your teammates to:

  • Pay with their credit card. No more chasing money!
  • Pay their fees with easy monthly payments* so you don’t have to carry them
  • Let them collect rewards like Airmiles on their credit card.

If you would like to save time this is what you need to do in order to take advantage of this unique revolutionary service.

  1. Activate DirectPay on your Team Registration form.
  2. Let your teammates know what you are charging per person.
  3. Get your teammates to fill out the DirectPay online form we set up for you.

That’s it! We do the rest.

You as a team GM are still responsible for the overall payment of the team invoice. This is just another method of payment you can offer your teammates. Our mission is to reduce, as much as possible, the unpleasant tasks that fall on you as the team GM and make running a team an easy as pie, fun and enjoyable process.
